The Greater Cleveland Partnership recently honored the Sewer District as member of its Commission 50 inaugural class, recognizing it as one of Northeast Ohio's top organizations for Board, Senior Management, Workforce and Supplier Diversity.
"We are taking steps to ensure a workplace that is diverse, inclusive and productive," said Director of Administration & External Affairs Constance Haqq. "Though we know it is a journey, we are happy to receive this recognition along the way."
The award was presented at the Partnership's May 4 annual meeting. Results were based on the 2010 Employer Survey on Diversity which accounted for metrics in four categories; the scores were combined for the final ranking.
The Greater Cleveland Partnership's Commission 50 consists of 25 for-profit and 25 nonprofit or government organizations that will hold the honor for the 2011-2012 year.
